Our story

From the engine room to your fleet

ShipSmith Group was founded by a team of marine engineers from DMET (the Directorate of Marine Engineering Training) - dedicated, goal-oriented professionals who thrive in the demanding maritime sector. We take pride in both our customer service and the calibre of our deliverables, providing value repair solutions to customers across a wide range of markets. We share our expertise, know-how and experience to deliver cost-effective solutions for the most difficult vessel repair and outfitting projects.

Built on DMET marine-engineering training and decades on the deck plates - the discipline of the engine room, applied to every project ashore and afloat.
